this was brought as a gift for somebody so I cannot comment as to how good the game is, all I can say is that it was a very good price and arrived on time.

A very good game, must buy for people who like FPS & RPG games as this game does bring those two together very well. It has pretty much the same controls as COD series and leveling up is just like your standard RPG way. Has loads of hours of gameplay plus even more with the DLC. You won’t be disappointed!

A game that seems to promise so much delivers so very little. It is atmospheric and has very cool, stylish comic book style graphics. This game has grasped Fallout 3′s coat tails and tries to be similar but with little story and more action and shooting. It wants to be in-between RPG and FPS but doesn’t excel at either. You spend a lot of time shooting mutant dog type creatures which is ridiculously tedious, even when you can make short work of them its just plain repetitive. You pick up missions by speaking to be people and you basically have to run off and find things or shoot things. The game boils down to going here, reading this text and then going over there collecting and shooting things before going back and reading more text. It is not involving or captivating in any way what so ever- it is tedious, boooooooooooring and repetitive- lacking imagination completely. The multiplayer seems really cool at first but it really isn’t- once three other people of a higher level join your game expect to die a lot, respawn shoot something for ages, die, respawn, shoot things- yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn. I’m not averse to a shoot em up at all, but it has to be dynamic and have something special about to be gripping- this game is just rather dull and disappointing. Modern Warfare 2, Fallout 3, Bioshock 1 & 2 these games outclass Boredomlands completely and provide a few good reasons to avoid it- but there are many reasons to be honest.
- Boring
- Repetitive
- Lame story driven by reading dull passages of text

Not so much R.P.G as more an expanded F.P.S. Graphics have a nice comic book style about them. Gets laggy with 4 player co-op, especially when one of your party is rocket launcher happy. Having hundreds of weapons can cause trauma deciding what to sell and what to keep. Gaming hours you’ll get from Borderlands on first play through expect in the region of 24-36hrs. This game is going cheap these days, why not give it ago if you like a little more menu time than normal F.P.S’s.Borderlands (Xbox 360)
